Natural Medicine

LASERNEEDLE technology offers diverse and unique treatment options in natural medicine. The therapy is an innovative medical concept for painless, non-invasive and side-effect free therapy.

LASERNEEDLE IN NEURAL THERAPY

Neural therapy with the active ingredient procaine plays an important role in naturopathy. Thanks to the dental handpieces, a comparable effect can be achieved under the non-invasive therapy with the LASERNEEDLE Touch.

Especially for the treatment of interference fields in the intraoral area, this offers a safe, elegant, painless and effective alternative, e.g. for patients who are not allowed or do not want to receive injections or for the treatment of interference fields in the pharyngeal area, e.g. due to tonsil scars. Procaine affects, among others, neuromodulatory triggers such as IL1, IL2, IL6, TNF-alpha and prostaglandins, and thus combats silent inflammation.

In comparison, the application of red and infrared lasers of the Laserneedle Touch offers a very similar effect on these “inflammation drivers” and inhibits them sustainably – but that completely painless and without side effects.

LASERNEEDLE ACUPUNCTURE

Laser acupuncture basically works for the same indications as classical needle acupuncture. In addition, the special biochemical effect of LLLT comes into play. LASERNEEDLE acupuncture is non-invasive, painless and carries no risk of infection. This is especially advantageous for treatments of very pain-sensitive acupuncture and trigger points. The use of LASERNEEDLE Touch is suitable for patients with anticoagulation, with relative contraindications and for therapy failures. Sensitive patients who are afraid of metal needles also benefit from the therapy, which is therefore particularly suitable for children. To be emphasized are – besides the orthopedic and neurological indications – the excellent effects in the treatment of pain and allergies.

LASERNEEDLE IN WOUND HEALING

With the LASERNEEDLE Touch and the special application option for placing the laser channels directly over a wound, the cell-proliferating and anti-microbial effect can act directly. As a result, poorly healing wounds can be treated better and more effectively.

Wound healing means the body’s own regeneration of damaged body tissue. This can be supported therapeutically. However, disturbances in wound healing lead to wound infections, delayed wound closure and, in the worst case, to the amputation of extremities, as is repeatedly the case, for example, with limbs affected by diabetic ulcers.

In a broader sense, wound healing also includes the integration of organic and inorganic implants into the tissue. Here, optimization of wound healing accelerates the integration of implants and improves their stability.

LASERNEEDLE technology enables trichromatic laser therapy by simultaneous irradiation of the wound with infrared, red and violet laser. While red or infrared laser light accelerates wound healing, violet light has a bactericidal effect. Even multi-resistant germs that colonize the wound and lead to wound infections can be effectively combated with it. The combined use of the different wavelengths optimizes wound treatment by laser therapy.

ADVANTAGES

  • accelerated wound healing
  • Healing of chronic ulcers where other forms of treatment such as wound dressings have had no effect.
  • preservation and regeneration of tissue – to avoid amputations of e.g. diabetic leg ulcers, which account for more than two thirds of all amputations annually in Germany

Postoperative application leads to improved ingrowth of implants into bones, increased mineralization of bones and accelerated restoration of functional capacity.

Dental

LASERNEEDLE therapy is an innovative medical concept for painless, non-invasive and side-effect-free therapy in the dental field. Low-level laser therapy (LLLT) – using a combination of red, infrared and violet lasers – is particularly efficient and suitable for a wide range of applications.

INDICATIONS

  • Craniomandibular dysfunctions
  • Tooth movement and braces-related pain
  • Nerve injuries
  • Postoperative therapies / wound healing after distractions / extractions or gingivectomy
  • Aphthae
  • Gingivitis, Periodontitis
  • Stomatitis
  • Dentin hypersensitivity
  • Anti-microbial irradiation (e.g. for implants)
  • Acupuncture against gag reflex
  • CMD

LASERNEEDLE TREATMENT

The conception of the LASERNEEDLE Touch Dental allows many different forms of treatment in one device:

  • Precise extraoral irradiation by contact application of the laser channels directly on the skin.
  • Precise intraoral irradiations with the dental handpiece

In the treatment of joint diseases of the craniomandibular system, LASERNEEDLE technology allows the laser light to be irradiated into the joint space in a targeted and precise manner. This means that deeper tissue layers within the joint are also reached to promote the healing process there as well.

When applied to the TMJ, red and infrared laser channels are positioned on the TMJ and along the joint space. The irradiation stimulates microcirculation in the tissue and stimulates cellular activity. Consequently, LLLT has a significant anti-inflammatory effect. Even a few treatments are sufficient to reduce pain and increase joint mobility.

In orthodontics,LASERNEEDLE Touch Dental can be applied both extraorally and intraorally.

Orthopedics / Sports Medicine

Almost all indications in the musculoskeletal system can be effectively treated with Laserneedle therapy. Its effect is based on the principle of photobiomodulation (PBM)Laserneedle therapy has:

  • anti-edematous
  • anti-inflammatory
  • analgesic
  • cell proliferating

The combination of these four modes of action distinguishes photobiomodulation from other therapies.

GENERAL INDICATIONS

  • Arthritis and arthrosis
  • Tendopathies
  • Sprains and bruises
  • Muscle injuries
  • Fractures
  • Nerve injuries
  • Post-operative therapies / rehabilitation

SPECIFIC INDICATIONS

  • Gonarthrosis
  • Polyarthrosis
  • Patellofemoral pain syndrome
  • Achillodynia
  • Epicondylitis
  • Impingement Syndrome
  • Frozen Shoulder
  • Ligament injury
  • Muscle fiber tear
  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (KTS)
  • Bursitis
  • Bone edema

LASERNEEDLE TREATMENT

LASERNEEDLE technology allows targeted and precise irradiation, e.g. of the joint space, as well as two-dimensional therapy, e.g. of muscle injuries. Due to the high depth of action, even deeper regions are reached, where the healing effect can unfold in the tissue. Irradiation can be applied from several sides at the same time, thus allowing uniform treatment of the affected area.

During the therapy, the doctor or therapist does not have to be present and can devote his attention to the next patient, for example. A few treatments are enough to relieve swelling, pain and inflammation and improve mobility.

LASERNEEDLE IN COMBINATION THERAPY

Except in monotherapy, LASERNEEDLE Touch can be used advantageously for combination therapies. In musculoskeletal indications, especially tendopathies and muscular dysfunctions, the combined use with shock wave is particularly promising.

Furthermore, the use of LASERNEEDLE Touch in combination with infiltrations of PRP, Traumeel, etc. is useful. Also the combination of acupuncture and irradiation by the laser light is considered to have a very good effect. In addition, the use of the LASERNEEDLE Touch after osteopathic treatment shows an improved result.

Neurology

Low-level laser therapy is an easy-to-use, safe and non-invasive and treatment method that stimulates cells and tissues sustainably.

In neurology, a whole series of scientific experiments, animal studies and clinical trials demonstrate the therapeutic efficacy of laser light, e.g. in the regeneration of peripheral nerves and the treatment of stroke, traumatic brain injury, Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s disease.

Most importantly, the concentrations of harmful reactive oxygen species are reduced and nerve-specific growth factors are activated. In addition, the anti-inflammatory and regenerative effects of red and infrared lasers come into play.

Their effect is based on the principle of photobiomodulation (PBM). Laserneedle therapy has the following effects

  • anti-edematous
  • anti-inflammatory
  • analgesic
  • cell proliferating
  • neuroprotective

GENERAL INDICATION

  • Nerve injuries

SPECIFIC INDICATIONS

  • traumatic nerve lesion
  • peripheral nerve damage, strokes
  • traumatic brain injuries

LASERNEEDLE TREATMENT

LASERNEEDLE technology allows targeted and pinpoint irradiation of nerves, as well as two-dimensional therapy, e.g. irradiation of the skull. Due to the high depth of action, even deeper regions are reached, where the healing effect can unfold in the tissue. The irradiation can be performed from several sides at the same time and thus allows a uniform treatment of the affected area.

During the therapy, the doctor or therapist does not have to be present and can devote his attention to the next patient, for example. Few treatments are enough to relieve swelling, pain, inflammation and to improve the growth processes.
